para o desenvolvedor tal como experimentamos no primeiro contato com Grails ou Spring Boot Então o que motivou a equipe de Graeme Rocher a criar este novo framework Quais os problemas que foram framework Java usa anotações para identificar seus componentes a anotação Controller por exemplo identifica uma classe como um bean que irádisponibilizar endpoints HTTP Quando sua aplicação inicia o framework lêo classpath da aplicação identifica todas as classes anotadas e na sequência aplica as ações necessárias para que desempenhem o papel definido por estas anotações O Micronaut segue o caminho oposto ainda temos as anotações tal como disse acima vocêirácodificar suas classes de uma forma bastante similar àque jáestáacostumado no Spring équase igual A diferença éque usando um recurso pouco conhecido pela maior parte dos programadores annotation procesors do Java e processamento de bytecode usando a biblioteca ASM temos um novo container de injeção de dependências e inversão de controle Um container que não descobre quem são os nossos beans em tempo de execução mas sim em tempo de compilação E isto faz toda a diferença Qual Basicamente uma aplicação que use os recursos de segurança providos pelo Micronaut muito similares aos que temos no Spring Security e JPA éiniciada quase que instantaneamente no máximo segundos em meus testes se vocêtem aplicações feitas em Grails que usam o Spring Security sabe muito bem do que estou falando temos uma inicialização leeeeeenta O modo como lidamos com classes proxy também édiferenciado Neste container de IoC também podemos trabalhar com AOP tal como no caso do Spring mas com advices e interceptadores também definidos em tempo de compilação E não temos apenas aqui a inicialização instantânea do projeto outro problema também éresolvido O consumo de memória ésignificativamente menor Algo que jáhavia experimentado com Node js estou vivenciando agora tenho APIs executando agora que consomem menos de Mb de memória Vocêconsegue imaginar isto com Java Eu também não acreditava mas to vendo isto aqui na minha frente agora Servlets Finalmente uma alternativaEsta éoutra mudança surpreendente Todos os frameworks que conheço para o desenvolvimento web usam a mesma base servlets E aqui pela primeira vez na JVM vejo uma alternativa emergir não mais uma solução baseada no Java Enterprise Edition padrão mas sim o provimento de um servidor de aplicação próprio embutido no projeto Este novo servidor web éo primeiro que vejo na plataforma Java que éindependente do Java EE tradicional baseado em servlets Se baseia em uma outra tecnologia bastante antiga e infelizmente pouco conhecida pelos desenvolvedores hoje Netty Um framework usado para a construção de aplicações de rede assíncronos de altíssima disponibilidade e desempenho que tem como resultado um novo servidor HTTP diferente daquele com o qual estamos acostumados Um servidor focado não no padrão MVC tradicional no qual pode haver o retorno de páginas HTML mas sim uma solução projetada desde o primeiro momento tendo como foco a troca de mensagens JSON entre micro serviços Em um primeiro momento vocêpode pensar nesta mudança como um mero ganho de desempenho Eu jáa vejo como um precedente importantíssimo que abriráas portas para um universo de inovações no Java simplesmente maravilhoso Como éprogramar usando o MicronautSe vocêquer novidade ébastante decepcionante por que ébasicamente como estamos acostumados a escrever APIs no Spring Não hánovidades atéas anotações são essencialmente as mesmas mudando apenas o pacote para que possamos tirar proveito da geração de código em tempo de compilação se vocêjásabe Spring a curva de aprendizado émínimaComo disse antes não háum salto de produtividade aqui talvez vocêconsiga um pouquinho mais de produtividade se gosta de Groovy ou Kotlin que também podem ser usadas no framework mas jáaviso não teráuma mudança significativa Algo muito bacana no Micronaut éque ele nos perite uma curva de aprendizado mais amigável Por padrão éusado o Gradle como mecanismo de build mas se vocêquiser trabalhar com Maven épossível também Recomendo ir pro Maven neste caso Não por que a documentação hoje fala mais sobre o Gradle e quase não menciona Maven No uso da IDE a adoção do Gradle faz diferença se vocêtentar iniciar o projeto a partir de uma classe isolada por exemplo teráproblemas neste primeiro momento Na prática sempre deverátanto executar a aplicação quanto seus testes a partir do Gradle o que pode ser um pouco chato no início mas com o tempo vocêse acostuma Além da infraestrutura o que háde interessanteNão se engane temos aqui uma ferramenta voltada para o desenvolvimento de micro serviços o que fica claro nos recursos que o framework nos fornece de cara Escrita de testes muito mais simplesDentre os recursos aquele que mais gostei foi o fato de nos fornecer um servidor HTTP embarcado mas mais do que isto também um cliente HTTP Pra escrita de testes émaravilhoso por que nos permite instanciar o servidor e realizar nossos testes escrevendo requisições HTTP e não apenas chamada a métodos Isto faz toda a diferença se você como eu prefere escrever testes que verificam comportamentos da nossa IDE A escrita deste tipo de testes tanto no Spring quanto no Grails pode ser bastante trabalhosa aqui étrivial Vocêpode escrever seus testes inclusive usando aquilo que jáconhece jUnit ou Spock Existe inclusive um módulo que torna a configuração destes testes algo simples Um framework de segurança pronto e fácil de usarNo Grails e Spring temos o Spring Security e no caso do Micronaut também temos uma solução para esta questão sóque não éum módulo a parte mas sim parte do próprio framework Se vocêjáconhece o Spring Framework iráse sentir em casa aqui a solução proposta pelo Micronaut équase uma cópia sóque mais simples e jávindo com os recursos que são essenciais na escrita de micro serviços nesta área JWTAutenticação por sessão LDAP Autenticação básica jamais recomendo mas para legados éinteressante Um mecanismo que nos permite flexibilidade na construção de nossos próprios provedores de autenticação Endpoints de autenticação prontos pra serem usados Prover isto jápronto para o desenvolvedor pode e iráreduzir significativamente os custos na implementação destes requisitos de restrição de acesso Inclusive novamente as mesmas anotações que temos no Spring Security vemos aqui como a Secured por exemplo Multi tenânciaO framework também oferece suporte a multi tenância pronta para ser usada E com um detalhe interessante nos permite usar o GORM como solução Sim o mesmo framework de persistência que usamos no Grails e que éuma das razões pelas quais o adotamos MonitoramentoSe vamos construir micro serviços temos aqui a necessidade de monitorarmos a qualidade do serviço Tal como o Spring Boot nos fornece o Actuator um módulo a parte Micronaut nos oferece o básico para que possamos monitorar sua qualidade Éuma versão bem mais simples do Actuator mas na minha opinião bem mais funcional Nos permite por exemplo criar rapidamente usando apenas configuração endpoints que nos permitem verificar as several useful features and one being hooks Hooks are super useful Some of the predefined hooks are useState useEffect Today we will see how to write a custom hook But before we start why do we need to write a custom hook A common scenario where we might need a custom hook is to extract the duplicate code logic and separate it into a single function thus re using the same code whenever needed Traditionally we had two popular ways to share stateful logic in react Render props or Higher order components HOC But with hooks we have more flexibility and ease A custom hook is defined by react as A JavaScript function whose name starts with use and that may call other Hooks Before we write a custom hook lets see the rules of hooks Rules of hooksBasically we have two rules when using hooks and they are Only Call Hooks at the Top Level Only Call Hooks from React FunctionsThe first rule says not to use hooks in conditions as React relies on the order in which Hooks are called The second rule says to only use hooks from react functions or use a hook in a custom hook We ll cover in depth about rules of hooks in a separate post but do remember these points while writing your custom hook Also do remember to name your hook with use Write a simple custom hook Let s say we have the following functional component which displays a username and it is fetched from the back end using a axios get GCP	Cloud Blog	Improved accessibility in the Maps JavaScript API	https://cloud.google.com/blog/products/maps-platform/improved-accessibility-maps-javascript-api/	Improved accessibility in the Maps JavaScript APIToday I m sharing some recent work by the Google Maps Platform JavaScript team focused on improving accessibility in the Maps JavaScript API Last year we began a renewed effort to become more accessible out of the box and to provide more hooks for developers to make accessible experiences  We are committed to continuously making accessibility improvements to the Maps JavaScript UIs and APIs and we know we have much more work to do We hope you will try out these new features in the weekly channel give us feedback on the changes and file new bugs to help us prioritize the areas that will have the most impact Please existing bugs that impact your websites and file new bug reports Accessibility is a complex topic that affects many different people and communities in many different ways and we rely on your feedback to help guide our efforts to make Google Maps Platform features accessible for everyone Our earliest work in focused on some of the most fundamental issues The team streamlined the tab order enabled keyboard and screen reader interactivity added screen reader descriptions and increased the color contrast of controls on each map Here s a look at the before and after of that work The tab order was non normative and the spacebar did not activate buttons Tab order is left to right and top to bottom the spacebar does activate buttons and color contrast is better We also took a hard look at the markers that developers add to the map Markers now default to the “img accessibility role or the “button accessibility role if they are interactive such as when a click event listener is registered Interactive markers are also keyboard navigable using arrow keys to iterate through each When developers supply a title for a marker this text is also used for the accessibility label Please note that these improvements only apply to markers that are not optimized To learn more see our new “Make a marker accessible guide and “Marker Accessibility code sample Markers which are keyboard navigable with arrow keys with accessibility labels and roles One of the most used UI components on maps is the InfoWindow Among other improvements InfoWindows now have the ability to automatically manage tab focus into and out of the InfoWindow when opened and closed By default we use a heuristic to determine whether open automatically moves focus or not developers are encouraged to make an explicit choice by using the shouldFocus option when opening an InfoWindow When an InfoWindow opens it opens the first focusable element either in developer supplied content or the built in close button When closed the focus is then restored The Maps JavaScript API has supported keyboard controls for map interactions like panning and zooming since but it has been difficult for users to discover what the keyboard shortcuts are This month we added a new keyboard shortcuts dialog to the UI to help users discover what controls are available These keyboard shortcuts are in effect when the map itself is focused Activating the “Keyboard shortcuts button on the map shows a dialog with the available controls What s NextEvery day across the web millions of people around the world use the Google basemap provided by the Maps JavaScript API Our goal is to give developers the tools they need to ensure the map is built for everyone We are committed to continuously making accessibility improvements to the Maps JavaScript UIs and APIs and we know we have much more work to do These improvements are only the beginning We hope you will try out these new features give us feedback and track the progress of the Maps JavaScript API on our Release Notes page Please also search for existing bugs and those that impact your websites take a look at the bugs we ve fixed to date and file new bug reports with feedback and issues that you encounter Happy mapping For more information on Google Maps Platform visit our website	2021-06-15 15:30:00
