million studentsEarlier this summer I had the chance to meet alumni of The Hidden Genius Project an Oakland based international nonprofit that provides Black male youth with training and mentoring in technology entrepreneurship and leadership Many of these graduates had no formal computer science education in their curriculum before joining the organization Thanks to the technical and coding skills they learned through The Hidden Genius Project they are now using technology to build their own businesses One graduate James learned how to wire frame which he s using to launch an app based shoe restoration business Another graduate Jeremiah is using the digital skills he learned to increase his company s online presence and reach more customers for his cleaning services company For these young men and for so many other students computer science CS education is providing a foundation in the skills they ll need for their future careers Yet there remain deep opportunity gaps in education that prevent everyone from accessing those skills equally At Google we believe educational opportunities should be available regardless of socioeconomic status background race or geography So today we re building on our long time support for nonprofits with an additional million commitment to expand CS education access to more than million students across the U S ーincluding more support for The Hidden Genius Project This brings our total commitment to CS education to more than million since Sundar talks with The Hidden Genius Project alum Ian Bundy Weiss during the program s visit to 海外TECH	DEV Community	Arquitetura de Sistemas Operacionais #4	https://dev.to/samoht/arquitetura-de-sistemas-operacionais-4-1mp7	Arquitetura de Sistemas Operacionais Hoje iremos começar a falar dos tipos de sistemas operacionais Vamos primeiro ver uma arvorezinha mostrando as versões do sistema Alguns desses sistemas tem divisões então vamos com calma vou primeiro explicar a diferença entre os sistemas monotarefa e multitarefa Sistemas Monoprogramáveis ou MonotarefaEsses eram os primeiros sistemas operacionais eles surgiram entre e eram feitos para executarem apenas um processo por vez o que deu origem ao seu nome não era possível pedir para o programa executar outro processo enquanto o atual não fosse finalizado totalmente Assim o processador ficava ocioso enquanto aguardava alguma entrada ou saída finalizar ocasionando num problema de mau uso de processamento Sistemas Multiprogramáveis ou Multitarefa Nesse tipo de sistema os recursos são compartilhados não sendo mais um sistema que fica ocioso enquanto um processo não éfinalizado Várias aplicações podem compartilhar o processador e a memória Assim o SO se preocupa além de fazer o contato entre os componentes se preocupa agora a gerir os recursos para controlar quem tem acesso ao que e quando do hardware A principal vantagem desse tipo de sistema éa redução de custos visto que a épossível compartilhar recursos Além disso eles reduzem totalmente o tempo de execução das aplicações Porém uma desvantagem éque a sua implementação se torna muito mais complexa do que os sistemas monotarefa Também podemos dividir esse tipo de SO em dois grupos dependendo da quantidade de pessoas que o acessam os dois grupos são os sistemas monousuário e multiusuário Monousário são os sistemas em que o computador éacessado por apenas um usuário geralmente éo caso de computadores pessoais e estações de trabalho onde apenas um usuário interage com o sistema Multiusuário são os sistemas em que existem vários terminais e vários computadores podem compartilhar entre si os recursos de um mesmo computador central Além disso háoutra divisão entre os sistemas multitarefa que diz respeito a como suas aplicações são gerenciadas sendo essas divisões o sistema batch de tempo compartilhado ou temporeal Os quais irei falar em um post futuro	2022-09-01 12:16:38
