ready to start learning a Programming Language and start learning the real tools and software that we use to develop backend applications Let s start with learning a new programming language Learn Programming Learn the basics of a Programming Language Data Structures and Algorithms Learn a Programming Language CompletelySo I know that you are confused about which language you should learn And it is so normal don t worry Somebody says to start with Python and another one says to start with JavaScript And every one of them is right it doesn t matter which language that you are starting with because in time you are gonna learn new languages when you need and the important thing is understanding the concepts that every programming language has in common After you learn one of them it is so easy to learn another one so don t worry If we come to my suggestion it is Python because I started with it and I liked it And I gonna share the resources that I used in the Python journey Learn the basics of a Programming LanguageNow you are learning JUST the basics of a programming language so that you can start learning “Data Structures and Algorithms And then you are gonna learn your programming language completely Because “Data Structures and Algorithms is one of the most important topics in programming and you just need the basics of a programming language to learn it My resource recommendation for this section is Token AuthenticationYou are gonna learn one of the most used authentication types on the web My resource recommendation for this section is JWTStrangely named but so useful you are gonna learn about JWTs JSON Web Tokens My resource recommendation for this section is Caching CDN Client Side Caching Server Side CachingYou don t have to take every piece of information from the server every time sometimes it is waste of time Like when you refresh your Youtube homepage the structure of the page is not requested from the server every time This technique can also be used in the backend for example you requested data from the server as a backend app and you served it to the user and you can hold this data in a separate place from the database so that this data whenever requested again you won t have to search all the database and waste your time and resources you can request this information from your separate place We are gonna learn more about this concept but I am not gonna share a huge course again if you need to learn how about this concept at a more advanced level you can decide to take a course about it CDNYou are gonna learn what is CDN Content Delivery Network My resource recommendation for this section is Client Side CachingYou are gonna learn more about how to cache on the client side My resource recommendation for this when to use which one you should learn every one of them My resource recommendation for this section is MicroservicesDivide every task into another microservice My resource recommendation for this section is SOASOA stands for “Service Oriented Architecture My resource recommendation for this section is ServerlessOne of the popular ones So many new start ups using this pattern to develop faster their systems My resource recommendation for this section is Search EnginesSearching is a very important duty and the best case is instead of writing your algorithm about searching using a well known search engine like “Elastic Search In this section I am gonna share with you just the introduction to Elastic Search if you think that you should learn now or when the time comes search for a Udemy or Coursera course about it and study My resource recommendation for this section is What is Elastic Search Containerization vs VirtualizationAbout this section the summary is that you should start learning about Docker I am gonna share a video about what is Docker and again if you think that you should learn it now or when the time comes search for an Udemy or Coursera course about it and study My resource recommendation for this section is Keep LearningNow as you see there are so many parts that you should learn fully now and also so many parts that you should learn when you need them Now you should start building your portfolio projects and start using the concepts that you learned and start learning the concepts that I mentioned about it but didn t suggest you any advanced course 海外TECH DEV Community How does the internet work? https://dev.to/burakuren101/how-does-the-internet-work-3hef How does the internet work Did you ever wondered how all this magic happens behind the scenes When we say the internet it is so interesting that see what people think about it because I see that some people are thinking that it works with clouds real ones some of them think that it works with satellites kinda true But in reality it is nothing more than we are connecting computers together with the cables on the ground So I said we are connecting the computers together yeah that is true but you are not here to learn just these kinda basic perspectives so let me introduce you to a concept called “Router What is the router According to Wikipedia “A router a is a networking device that forwards data packets between computer networks Routers perform the traffic directing functions on the Internet Data sent through the internet such as a web page or email is in the form of data packets A packet is typically forwarded from one router to another router through the networks that constitute an internetwork e g the Internet until it reaches its destination node So actually it explains very clearly The router is the thing that forwards our packets like your e mails to the final destination And our packet stops at so many locations throughout its journey Let me tell you about our packet s journey over the internet and you ll see what is happening So Mike wanted to send a message to his friend over the internet Mike is connected to his home internet So this message let s call it the packet after now goes to the modem and actually modem is a collective of so many parts of the device like the router So the packet goes to the modem and actually goes to the router Until now everything happened in Mike s house So what is going to happen next to the packet It goes over the internet which actually means so many other routers and to his friend s house router and then to his friend s phone Actually it is that simple but let s learn some more advanced topics to understand deeply You can connect your device to the router with a couple of technics and as you can guess one of them is WI FI which is you don t need a cable to connect YOUR OWN ROUTER Or you can use a cable to connect your device to your own router after that just works fine like MIKE s story In Mike s story Mike connected his phone to his friend s phone right What about Mike wanting the connect his own devices to each other using his home s modem Then we use a device called “Switch And as I said our “modem contains so many other networking devices in it so as you guessed there is also a switch in it Actually you can easily see the switch in it just look at the ports called LAN LAN and LAN …these are the ports that the switch device uses and you can connect your devices using these ports Every device should connect to one of the ports Alright these are understood but what is this “LAN means actually right It is an acronym that stands for “Local Area Network so let s check what Wikipedia says about this concept “A local area network LAN is a computer network that interconnects computers within a limited area such as a residence school laboratory university campus or office building So it is basically a small internet in your area Do you remember what I said about the internet “we are connecting computers together with the cables on the ground So if you connect devices in LOCAL areas it is called a Local Area Network LAN and if you connect devices in wide areas or even globally like the internet that we use on daily basis it is called a Wide Area Network WAN Actually the thing we are talking about is NETWORK and there are two types of network LAN and WAN And eventually the internet is a WAN Alright alright we learned so many topics like Router Switch LAN and WAN There is actually one more topic that I want to share with you for discovering that topic let s get back to Mike s story So Mike was sending his packet to his friend and we said “the packet goes over the internet which actually means so many other routers Did you ever wonder whose routers those that carrying our packets to our friend These are called ISPs Internet Service Provider the people whom you are paying money for access to the internet right But do you think one router can be enough for this mission No there are hundreds of thousands of routers that are connected to each other over the world and every one of them passes our packet to each other until our packet gets where it is the final destination that we call “node It is just like a mail service but at the speed of light and it goes over the oceans on the ground CONGRATS Now you have a valid fundamental about what internet is For more blog about the internet backend development and Python check out my profile … 2022-07-14 13:18:28
海外TECH DEV Community What is HTTP? https://dev.to/burakuren101/what-is-http-16c3 What is HTTP I know that every one of you already has seen the word of HTTP in your life at least once Alright but where Let s check Google s link As you can see the link starts with “HTTPS and it represents the protocol that we use when requesting this website First of all the thing that we should be aware of is that on the internet all the communication is done in “request response circles So in the end we use HTTP to make requests and get responses from servers And the process is like this A client a browser sends an HTTP request to the webA web server receives the requestThe server runs an application to process the requestThe server returns an HTTP response output to the browserThe client the browser receives the responseSo we understood what is HTTP used for Let me tell you about “methods We have methods that we refer to when we are making any request from the server every time When we use HTTP protocol not just the method we are referring to everything that is needed to proceed with that request every single time This is because the HTTP protocol is “STATELESS What is STATELESS Stateless means that when you had a request and got a response that request response pair is separate from any other request that you are making or responses that you are receiving from the server You can say like that HTTP forgets everything about you when your request is done And you have to refer to the needed data every time And we call this kind of situation STATELESS If we get back to methods main methods are GET You want to receive data from the serverPOST You want to add your data to the server PUT You want to update your data on the server DELETE You want to delete something from the server Now where exactly we are referring to these pieces of information like the method that we are using and the other needed ones when we are making requests to the server Let me introduce to you the “HTTP Headers There are so many headers that you can use It has a so basic logic It is just like a dictionary Let me show you with example Let s say you want to visit For this mission I am gonna use Developer Tools You can reach this tool with a “right click on the website and click the “inspect option You are gonna see the Developer Tools There are so many other sub tools in developer tools but I just want to show you the Network section if you want to learn about others you can search for it After opening the Network section let s refresh our page so that the Network section can show us what is happening These are the HTTP requests we are making to google com when we refresh the page So let s just get a deep dive into the request that I chose one which is the HTML code for google com main page As you can see right other you clicked on it There is a “Headers section And there are request headers that our browser put to get a valid response from the server You can see them in the General Sub Section There you can see the Status Code which is just a number that comes from the server The server is trying to tell us Everything is OK Not Found Bad Request Internal Server Error And so many other numbers that tells us what is the Status of this request for a more detailed explanation of the Status Codes There are also Response Headers that our browser needs these pieces of information to make this response valid and working Alrighty we learned what HTTP is used for what kind of protocol is HTTP Stateless and what are the HTTP Headers There is one more topic that I should tell you about In this blog I used HTTP and HTTPS like they are the same thing but they are not So let me tell you what that “S means and why it is important It stands for the word “Secure Now the case is as you know the communication between you and the server is passing through so many other “Routers so this makes your communication insecure because your packets are almost naked on the internet You have to cover them by using Cryptograprafi You have to make your packet just can be understandable to you and the server that you are sending So we are gonna use algorithms to make them secure by using Cryptograprafic Algorithms That “S at the end of HTTP tells us that this server is proved that it has a certificate like TLS or SSL The common ones that we use for this mission that makes your connection secure between you and the server But I want to tell you that HTTPS doesn t mean that the server is trustable It just tells you that your data is just gonna be seen by the server that you are sending and not the other people who are trying to steal your data while your packet is on its journey to the server Congrats You learned “What is HTTP in a very detailed way For more blog about the internet backend development and Python check out my profile … 2022-07-14 13:18:26

海外TECH Engadget The best laptops for gaming and schoolwork https://www.engadget.com/best-gaming-laptops-for-students-170026726.html?src=rss The best laptops for gaming and schoolworkThere s never been a better time to be a PC gamer especially if you re always on the go Gaming notebooks are lighter more powerful and cheaper than ever before They re particularly useful for students because their beefy hardware could be helpful for rendering video and doing any other schoolwork that would make super thin ultraportables sweat You can find some general advice on choosing gaming laptops in our guide But if you want to narrow down the field to a few great options you ve come to the right place Are gaming laptops good for school As we ve mentioned gaming laptops are especially helpful if you re doing any demanding work Their big promise is powerful graphics performance which isn t just limited to games Video editing and D rendering programs can also tap into their GPUs to handle demanding tasks While you can find decent GPUs on some productivity laptops like Dell s XPS you can sometimes find better deals on gaming laptops My general advice for any new workhorse machine Get at least GB of RAM and the largest solid state drive you can find ideally TB or more Those components are both typically hard to upgrade down the line so it s worth investing what you can up front The one big downside to choosing a gaming notebook is portability For the most part we d recommend inch models to get the best balance of size and price Those typically weigh in around pounds which is significantly more than a three pound ultraportables Today s gaming notebooks are still far lighter than older models though so at least you won t be lugging around a pound brick And if you re looking for something lighter there are plenty of inch options these days And if you re not into LED lights and other gamer centric bling keep an eye out for more understated models or make sure you know how to turn those lights off Best midrange for most people ASUS Zephyrus GWill Lipman Photography for EngadgetThe Zephyrus G is a bit more expensive than when it launched a few years ago but it remains a fantastic inch gaming laptop This year it s toting AMD s Ryzen HS CPU and Radeon S GPU That s enough power to play just about any modern game in p and they should perform smoothly on the Hz or Hz QHD screens Unlike the first G model there s also a built in webcam with Windows Hello login support What s most impressive is that the G is still pretty portable for a gaming laptop weighing in between and pounds Buy Zephyrus G at Amazon Best high end option Razer Blade Will Lipman Photography for EngadgetFor years Razer has built a reputation for making gaming laptops that look as good as MacBooks 海外TECH Engadget Apple's 16-inch MacBook Pro is $250 off right now https://www.engadget.com/apples-16-inch-macbook-pro-is-250-off-right-now-130534593.html?src=rss Apple x s inch MacBook Pro is off right nowIf you ve already decided you want to go big on your next laptop consider the inch MacBook Pro We gave it a score of in our review and we didn t find too much to knock it for However it s pretty pricey with its starting price But right now you can pick it up for less at Amazon as the online retailer has knocked the price of the GB version down to That s the best price we ve seen it and you can get the discount on their the silver or space gray model Buy inch MacBook Pro at Amazon Unlike many of Apple s other notebooks the inch MacBook Pro was redesigned a bit to make it more of a power user s machine It has a inch Liquid Retina XDR display that s only interrupted by a top notch that houses the p webcam The TouchBar is gone but Apple s Magic Keyboard remains a dream to type on and the trackpad is wonderful to use as well But arguably most importantly the sides of the MacBook Pro now have a bunch of ports that have been missing from the notebook for a long time It has three Thunderbolt USB C connections a full sized HDMI port and SD card reader a headphone jack and a MagSafe power connector ーall of that s to say that you won t be living as much of the dongle life as you might have been before although you might still need a USB A adapter every now and then The base model that s on sale runs on Apple s M Pro chipset GB of RAM and GB of storage and it comes in at fairly hefty pounds While it s not the most portable machine we recommend going for the inch version if that s a priority for you it s certainly a powerhouse when it comes to performance In our benchmark testing the Pro blew most comparable Windows machines out of the water and did so while maintaining a strong battery life The inch Pro lasted about hours during our battery tests and it s worth noting that we didn t see a performance dip while running on battery power alone Ultimately the inch MacBook Pro is best for audio and video producers or others in creative fields who want the maximum amount of screen space possible along with some of the best performance you ll find on a laptop today Yes it remains pricey even when on sale but it s a much better buy when you can grab it for less than usual Follow EngadgetDeals on Twitter and subscribe to the Engadget Deals newsletter for the latest tech deals and buying advice 2022-07-14 13:05:34
海外TECH Engadget MacBook Air M2 review (2022): Apple’s near-perfect Mac https://www.engadget.com/macbook-air-m2-review-2022-130040098.html?src=rss MacBook Air M review Apple s near perfect MacThe new MacBook Air is one of Apple s most important computers since Steve Jobs pulled the original Air out of an envelope It shows what s possible when Apple builds an ultraportable entirely around its mobile chips instead of lazily sticking them in old laptop designs like with the recent inch MacBook Pro The Air is impressively thin and light but it also has a bigger and better screen a great set of speakers and a nifty MagSafe power adapter And thanks to Apple s M chip it s also far speedier than the last model a computer I called stunningly fast just a year and a half ago Once again Apple has set a new standard for ultraportables Before I dive into what s under the hood I ll just say what we re all thinking This is a gorgeous computer The Air s trademark wedge design is gone now it s uniformly thin from front to back Apple basically repeated the PowerBook esque design of the and inch MacBook Pro more rounded edges a notch for the webcam but squished it into a case that measures just millimeters thin and weighs pounds While it s only a tenth of a pound lighter than the last Air it s far more balanced making it easier to hold When I picked up the MacBook Air for the first time it felt more like an iPad with a built in keyboard than a laptop What s funny is that it s actually more portable than the inch iPad Pro which weighs about pounds when combined with its Smart Keyboard The iPad Pro has always been positioned as a futuristic ideal for truly portable computing but it turns out it weighs the same as the inch MacBook Pro Once again the humble Air wins out It s also nice to see Apple offering a wider variety of finishes In addition to the typical space gray and silver there s a brighter starlight case and a sleek black midnight option I ve been testing a starlight model and the way the color pops off of the aluminum always gives me a bit of joy Devindra Hardawar EngadgetTo be honest that sense of delight can be found just about everywhere in the MacBook Air like its new inch Liquid Retina screen It s only a third of an inch larger than before but it feels more expansive and engrossing It helps that Apple shaved off a bit of bezel and also bumped up the brightness to nits which makes the Air far easier to use outdoors For the most part the Liquid Retina screen is on par with what we saw on the inch and inch MacBook Pros the only difference is that it doesn t have ProMotion I didn t expect to see that high refresh rate tech on a mainstream laptop especially after it didn t arrive on the inch MacBook Pro But at this point it s one of the only things keeping the Air from being truly perfect Maybe I m just being greedy but my eyes have been spoiled I need silky smooth scrolling on every machine I was also a bit disappointed by the new p webcam It packs in more pixels than the previous p cameras but it still looks pretty drab and grainy Devindra Hardawar EngadgetAt least Apple managed to bring over its improved speaker technology from the larger MacBook Pros The Air features a quad speaker system with support for Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos And while I didn t expect much from such a thin system the new audio setup sounds shockingly great It s enough to fill a small room with sound at max volume without any distortion There s also a three mic array to improve video chat sound quality as well as a standard mm jack I m sure there s some fanatical Apple designer who wants to yank out the headphone jack to make the Air s case even thinner just like they did with the iPad Pro So enjoy it while you can All of these upgrades would be impressive on their own but what makes the MacBook Air really shine is Apple s new M chip It doesn t completely reshape the PC world like the M did but it s a decent sequel The M features CPU cores and up to GPU cores and Apple says it s around percent faster for multithreaded performance If you go for the faster GPU model you can expect graphics speeds about percent faster than the M Apple also doubled the M s memory bandwidth and raised the maximum RAM to GB That s probably overkill for an Air but it s nice nonetheless There s also hardware support for ProRes encoding and decoding but I d imagine most video editors would opt for more powerful MacBook Pros NoneGeekbench CPUGeekbench ComputeCinebench RApple MacBook Air Apple M Apple MacBook Air Apple M Apple MacBook Pro inch Apple M Apple MacBook Pro inch Apple M Pro Dell XPS Intel i H RTX Ti Our review unit was equipped with a core GPU GB of RAM and a TB SSD the same as our inch MacBook Pro tester And just as I expected the scores between both systems were nearly identical across benchmarks like GeekBench and DMark Wild Life Extreme There was a significant difference in Cinebench R s multi threaded test but that wasn t a huge surprise The MacBook Air is a fan less system so its CPU has to be throttled to keep things cool The inch MacBook Pro on the other hand has fans and a more robust cooling setup so it can handle longer sustained workloads All of my testing made it clear that the MacBook Air is just as fast as the inch Pro for most tasks It even hit the same fps average in Shadow of the Tomb Raider s benchmark which means the game would actually be playable on a crazy thin ultraportable But you ll have to live with a bit of slowdown if you re doing more complex work like video editing or D rendering For most people I think that s a decent compromise given everything else the MacBook Air has to offer And if you re an actual media professional you re still better off with the inch or inch MacBook Pro instead of the aging inch model Devindra Hardawar EngadgetNot to knock on that computer too much but now that I ve seen the Air in action I m even more baffled by the inch Pro The Air has the same great keyboard and super smooth trackpad There s no annoying TouchBar just trusty function keys It even has more ports There are two USB C ports but it also features a MagSafe connector for power That means you can actually charge the MacBook Air without using up one of your precious USB C connections Maybe Apple should have just renamed this the MacBook Air Pro The inch Pro does have a larger battery which helped it last hours and five minutes in our benchmark The Air meanwhile reached hours and minutes Still that s plenty of time to last you beyond a full day of work and it s on par with other ultraportables like Dell s XPS Apple also has a variety of power adapters to choose from one with two USB C ports for charging other devices and a watt adapter for fast charging Devindra Hardawar EngadgetThe one downside to the MacBook Air s revamp is that it now starts at more than the M model That older machine is still a decent option if you find it on sale or refurbished but otherwise I d say the M model is absolutely worth the extra cost Just be prepared for the price to rise quickly as you start adding extra hardware If you wanted to bump up to our review unit s specs you d have to pay Personally I d say prioritize throwing in as much RAM and SSD storage as you can The M chip will still be very capable without the upgrade for the more powerful GPU It s remarkable to think how far the MacBook Air has come since It used to be overpriced and underpowered a testament to Apple s tendency towards style over substance Since then the entire PC industry jumped aboard the ultraportable bandwagon and Apple found a way to pack a ton of power into a razor thin case Now the MacBook Air is arguably Apple s best laptop yet 2022-07-14 13:00:40
