海外TECH	DEV Community	Create a robust server using Auto Scaling groups and Load Balancers- AWS Hands On	https://dev.to/this-is-learning/create-a-robust-server-using-auto-scaling-groups-and-load-balancers-aws-hands-on-1308	Create a robust server using Auto Scaling groups and Load Balancers AWS Hands OnImage taken from stackoverflow comNow we have all the tools to create a robust server In this exercise we will create a server that can auto scale be load balanced and can handle instance failures according to requirements To do this create a load balancer as we did in last hands on but don t add any instance to it or if you are using the previous exercise load balancer terminate those instancesGo to Auto Scaling Groups under auto scaling in your EC instance dashboard Click on Create Auto Scaling Group Fill the auto scaling group name and select a launch template of you have one if you don t have one select create new launch template This launch template is a template which will be used to create our new EC instances for auto scaling Select a name and description for our templateSelect the AMI for which you want this template if you don t know select Amazon Linux AMI HVM SSD Volume Type for the purpose of this tutorial this should be the first optionSelect the instance type as t micro free tier eligible A key pair name for ssh login You can select one we created while creating an ec instance Let network settings be VPC lets not get into what this is for the purpose of this tutorialSelect a security group Select the same one that we select while creating our EC instancesThen there is storage tags network interfaces no need to touch them Open Additional details and in user data paste the following script and click on create new launch template bin bash Use this for your user data script from top to bottom install httpd Linux version yum update yyum install y httpdsystemctl start httpdsystemctl enable httpdecho lt h gt Hello World from hostname f lt h gt gt var www html index htmlGo to your old tab and click refresh on right side of launch template dropdown You will see your launch template there select your template in my case its demo template Now you will see configure settings screen which you can select that all your instances can adhere to launch template or you can mix and match them with spot or other instances I think that will be complex for now So lets adhere to launch templateLet the VPC remain same Select all the subnets in your region So that we can use multiple availability zones in our region Click nextNext is load balancing Select Attach to an existing load balancer Select a target group you created while creating the load balancer Select ELB health checks it checks if the underlying structure is working correctly If you want to enable cloud watch logs Select additional settings monitoring else click next I don t need cloudwatch logs so I left it unchecked Next it is the most important part we select our min preferred and max instances Next we select the auto scaling policy as our needs for CPU utilization of each instance requests etc Configure it according to needs Click on next Next we can add notifications on scale in and out but we will study about it later For now remove it and click next You can add tags to better identify our Auto scaling Group and instances associated with it Click next review that everything is set correctly and click Create Auto Scaling GroupYour auto scaling group is created To check it go to instances You will see two instances with the name that we added in tags Next go to the load balancer DNS to see if the instances work Lets see what happens if we terminate on of our instances Go to auto scaling again and in a few seconds once you select instance management We will see that it shows one healthy instance Wait for a few minutes AWS will detect the unhealthy instance and launch a new instance in its place You can also check what happens in the activity tab You will see it launches two instances first and then detects that there is a terminated instance and launches a new instanceNow to deploy an actual application you just have to expose the API over port in deployment for HTTP or over port for HTTPS in your instance and you have to setup SSL Suggest a small opensource application if you want to see it deployed other wise I m working on a small python Django project it is a work in progress we will deploy than in days until that we have to wait Until that this is as far as we go In the next tutorial we will see how to setup EC instances AMI so that we have pre configured EC instances on our disposal	2021-06-30 06:36:07

projects Let s dive in and explore some awesome GitHub bots apps that can ease the maintainers burden by enabling and empowering them to extend their workflows and customizing the way GitHub functions Introduction to ProbotProbot is a Node js framework used to create GitHub Apps Probot monitors webhook events in a repository or organization such as commenting on a pull request creating a new issue submitting a pull request reviewing code and so on Although you can make your own GitHub Bots however for this post we ll see the bots already existing on the Probot community platform so no need to re invent the wheel all over again Probot apps for welcoming and inclusivity WelcomeWelcome is a simple and easy to use bot to welcome new contributors to the repository using comments defined by the maintainers It is a combination of three plugins new issue welcome new pr welcome and first pr merge This bot can be configured and activated by creating a github config yml file to declare the contents of the comments These comments can include important information like project norms how long do the contributor can expect to wait before receiving a response or just a generous welcome message with gifs or images conveying warmth enthusiasm and gratitude All Contributors BotAll Contributors Bot helps you recognize all the contributors not just the ones who pushed code but also the ones who contributed to designs documentation etc It uses an emoji key to determine the contribution type It can be simply used to add a contributor with comments on issues or pull requests e g all contributors please add tbenning for design Probot apps for enforcing community norms Stale BotStale Bot helps in closing down stale issues and pull requests that have been open for a long time and have seen no particular action hence cutting down on the accumulation of issues and pull requests on the project After a period of inactivity an issue will be labeled as stale and a comment may be posted to notify contributors that the Issue or Pull Request will be closed If the Issue or Pull Request is updated or if someone comments on it the stale label is removed and nothing else is done until it becomes stale again If there is no further activity the Issue or Pull Request will be closed automatically with an optional comment It can be configured and enabled by adding a github stale yml in the default branch of the repository Auto Assign BotAuto Assign allows you to randomly assign individual reviewers or review groups to a pull request when opened It has to be installed and then configured using the github auto assign yml file on the default branch This helps in pointing out the responsible person for the code reviews thus helping in getting a quick review and response You can also configure skip keywords such as WIP work in progress so that reviewers only get assigned on pull requests that are ready so that they don t have to bother unnecessarily Probot apps for also be used to add customizations RemindersReminders can be used to set reminders on issues and pull requests that you want to ensure a revisit to To set a reminder on any comment box on GitHub use the remind command and you ll receive a ping when the reminder is due The usual syntax goes like remind me what when for example remind me to deploy on Oct or remind me next Monday to review the requirements In a nutshell being an open source project maintainer can be tough especially when it s not your day job However Probot can be a boon for such situations as it allows them to get time
